Google Address: There are two Google addresses for Anna Mae Bacon Bird Sanctuary. One Google Address brought me to Centennial Park on East Main Street, Hamburg, NY and the other brought me to Crescent Avenue.
Parking: I parked across from Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in a small, paved lot to access Centennial Park (N42.42.0348 W078.49.5998). I parked along the road edge near the trail entrance on Crescent Avenue.

I walked approximately .57 miles from where I parked across from Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral on the path in Centennial Park. Then I walked .81 on the trails accessed from Crescent Avenue.
Off of Main Street, the trail is mostly single file. Off of Crescent Avenue, The trail is wide enough for two people to walk side by side and it is mostly level with a slight incline at both sides of Eighteenmile Creek. My Garmin said the ascent was 19 feet and descent was 16 feet for the Crescent Avenue trail.
The trail off of Main Street was a mixture of concrete steps, natural, cobbled-together wood, and slabs of slate or concrete. The Crescent Avenue was either natural or a very recent thick layer of wood chips. There were wet, muddy areas on the Main Street side. The trails were not muddy on the Crescent Avenue side. I would not want to use a stroller on either side. I enjoyed hearing the sounds of Eighteenmile Creek during my exploration of the area. There was not much traffic noise. I enjoyed the fairy houses and the way the trail circled about and kept returning to the main trail. It was easy to see the building at the entrance and keep myself oriented. There was a waterfall but it was covered in landscaping cloth so it was not very pretty.
I only saw work crews at the entrance of Main Street and a resident getting into his vehicle. I had the space to myself.
I did not note any trash.
The mosquitos were not a bother today today.
I heard and saw snails, a chipmunk, a black squirrel, and songbirds including downy woodpecker, American robin, and what I believe was some sort of finch. I saw ferns, Virginia creeper, and flowers including dandelions, violets, honeysuckle. There were many tree species including willow.
And I saw poison ivy. There were signs blocking off a section of trail due to growth of Water Hemlock in the area.
