Visited January 16, 2023

Address: Off of Harlem Road (Route 240) on Stedtman Road, Cheektowaga, NY (This will take you to the middle of the trail.)

Parking: Room for 8 cars, paved parking lot (we had the parking lot to ourselves)

25-28 degrees, no breeze, 10:30-11:20 AM

No restroom facilities available

The trail is free.

Leashed pets are welcome but Wesley stayed home today.

The trail has a flat, paved surface.

My friend, Melissa, and I walked 1.07 miles and then retraced our steps to the car for a total of 2.14 miles. She often sees birds while on this trail but they were pretty quiet today. We saw and heard the trains that neighbor this trail. The sky was a beautiful blue and it was nice to be out walking an uncomplicated path; sometimes that is perfect for visiting with a friend!

The trail is well marked and well maintained for the section that we walked.

Strollers and wheelchairs could navigate this paved trail.

During our time on the trail, we were passed by one biker and one walker.

I did not see any trash while on this section of trail but there was trash in the parking area despite trash cans being available nearby.

No mosquitos today.

I saw a variety of trees along the trail edge.
