Google Address: Kenneglenn Scenic and Nature Preserve, 11663 Strykersville Road, East Aurora, NY
Parking: I parked in both gravel parking lots. One has space for 6+ and the other has space for 4 vehicles.
50 degrees Fahrenheit; 10:44 - 12:24 PM overcast with a breeze (The sun came out as I hit the thruway on the way home.)
Toilet facilities not available
Wesley stayed home because dogs are not allowed.
I walked approximately .5 miles total on the Creek Trail and 1.34 miles total on the Gorge Rim Trail. Both trails were out and back. This western New York Land Conservancy property was a beautiful place to visit the woods during autumn. The breeze blew leaves to float to the ground while I was walking making the walk even more magical.
There was a slight decline at the end of both trails.
The natural trail is single file. I would not want to try to navigate a stroller on these trails due to uneven terrain.
There was some traffic noise.
I had both trails to myself. I saw another car arrive but never saw the people on the trails.
I did not note any trash.
The mosquitos were not a bother today.
I saw chipmunks and small birds. I saw dandelion, Queen Anne's lace, plantain, multifloral rose, grapevine, Joe-Pye weed, goldenrod, and many tree species including maple, oak, and shagbark hickory.
I saw poison ivy on both trails.
