The trail is free.

Leashed dogs are permitted. Wesley stayed home today because he was sick and I had some errands to do while I was in the area. Also, I would not have enjoyed trying to keep him out of the goose and duck poo that was everywhere.

The trail is a concrete, paved surface and mostly level.

I walked the approximately .25 mile loop. (My maps did not record the beginning of the walk for some reason.)

A stroller or wheelchair would navigate this loop with ease. I watched a person push a wheelchair around the loop when I had returned to my vehicle.

I had the trail to myself except for the ducks and geese that were enjoying the muggy weather of the past few days. There was some noise from the nearby road. The trail has some sections of full sun and some shaded sections. I enjoyed watching the ducks. They were mostly resting in the shade today.

I did not see any trash.

The mosquitos were not a bother at this site today.

This is a trail where shorts would have been okay.

I did not see poison ivy.

I saw ducks, geese, water lillies, and a variety of tree species. I admit that I did not give the trees much attention because the ducks under them were so cute to watch.

I went to lunch here because the sign for "milkshakes" caught my eye as I was driving by. The fries and the vanilla milkshake were excellent. The service was friendly and the air conditioning was welcome.
